Reasons 2016 White Lies

Tasting Notes:

pale straw and brilliantly clear

huge aromas of tropical fruit; banana, kiwi. It also has honeydew melon and pear, with bright floral notes.

very bright with acidity and juicy, but also rich and round. The banana and honeydew melon really come through in the palate. The finish is juicy and leaves you wanting more. It lingers with slight vanilla and honey and a subtle citrus zest finish.

This wine is a blend of Chardonnay and Viognier. The Viognier was made in stainless steel and did not go through any ML. The Chardonnay was partially made in stainless with no ML (about 50%), and the other half in a mix of neutral and one year old French oak barrels. The barrel fermented Chardonnay was inoculated with malolactic.

The result is a bright, crisp, and fruity wine with just subtle oak and ML influence.
